Heat pump from the 2021 model year
Model 3 cars from the 2021 model year use a heat pump. The same circuit heats and cools the cabin and the battery, so an AC fault can also slow charging in summer.

The PCS sits on the battery pack
On the Model 3, the PCS that charges the battery and the low-voltage system sits on top of the high-voltage pack. Replacing it is high-voltage work, and the car needs programming afterwards.

12V or 16V
Earlier Model 3 cars have a 12V lead-acid battery; newer ones have a 16V lithium-ion battery that must be configured after replacement.

The Model 3 at EV Zone
The Model 3 is Tesla’s saloon, sold in the UAE for years in rear-wheel-drive, Long Range and Performance versions. Like every EV it needs less routine work than a petrol car, but the parts that do wear follow a pattern: bushes and suspension joints on bumpy roads, the AC and cooling system in the summer heat, and the low-voltage battery.
Many parts are shared with the Model Y, so the same jobs and checks apply to both cars.

Questions owners ask
Why does my Model 3 clunk from the rear?
Worn rear motor or subframe bushes are a common cause, especially after years of speed bumps. Suspension links and joints can sound similar, so both need checking. See drive unit and motor repair.
My Model 3 AC is not cooling. What should I note?
Note when it happens: parked, driving or charging, and whether heating works. Send that with the year on WhatsApp. On a heat-pump Model 3 the cause can be the compressor, a valve, a leak or a clogged condenser.
My Model 3 will not charge. Is it the battery?
Not necessarily. A PCS fault, a contactor or the charge port can stop charging while the cells are healthy. A photo of the warning helps us see where to start.
