Blade battery
The Han and the Dolphin use BYD's Blade battery, built from lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells. Like any EV battery, it ages more slowly when it is kept cool.

12V battery
Both cars have a 12V battery for their electronics. If the car will not start up or shows several electrical warnings, it is one of the first things to check.

Repairs covered by BYD's warranty, and recalls, belong with the BYD dealer.
