What the cooling system does on an EV
An electric car has no engine to cool, but it still has a coolant circuit. It carries heat away from the high-voltage battery, the motor and inverter, and the charging electronics, and on many cars it also warms the battery when that helps charging. A water pump moves the coolant, and the radiator at the front releases the heat with help from the fans.
Dust and heat in the UAE
The radiator sits behind the AC condenser, and both collect fine dust, sand and insects. When the fins clog, less air flows through: the fans run harder and longer, the AC weakens in traffic, and on hot days the car may slow fast charging or limit power to protect the battery. Radiator deep cleaning restores the airflow without replacing parts.
Coolant and water pump
Coolant ages and can leak at hoses and joints. A failing water pump often makes a whine or buzz, and the car may show a cooling warning. We flush and refill the coolant, and replace water pumps and radiators when cleaning is not enough.

What is radiator deep cleaning?
Dust, sand and insects pack into the radiator and the AC condenser in front of it, where a quick rinse from the front does not reach. In the deep clean shown on this page, the radiator and condenser come out of the car and are washed with high-pressure water.
How often should an EV radiator be cleaned in the UAE?
It depends on where and how you drive: dusty roads and construction areas fill the fins faster. Ask us to check it at each service, or as soon as the fans start running longer than usual.
Does the coolant need changing on an electric car?
Yes. EVs use coolant for the battery, the motor and the electronics, and it ages like any coolant. Your owner's manual gives the interval and the coolant type for your car.
