Battery health
EV battery health check and report
Know the condition of your electric car's high-voltage battery: before you buy or sell, when a fleet car is sold or returned, or when the range seems lower than it was. EV Zone is a workshop specialised in the repair and maintenance of electric vehicles, in Industrial Area 11, Sharjah.
When to book
When a battery health check makes sense
- Before you buy or sell a used electric car
- Before a fleet car is sold or returned
- The range seems lower than it used to be
A warning on the screen is a different case: book a diagnosis instead.
The work
What the check covers
- State-of-health estimate
- Cell voltage balance
- Battery temperatures
- Insulation resistance
- Stored high-voltage alerts
What you get
- A written battery health report
- If repairs are needed: contactors, power conversion system and pyro fuse, with the programming the car needs
- Complete high-voltage battery pack replacement
In detail
Why battery health matters
The high-voltage battery stores the energy that drives the car. As it ages it holds a little less, so the range on a full charge goes down. Heat, charging habits and use affect how fast that happens. A battery health report shows where a particular car stands, which matters most when the car changes hands.
If there is a warning on the screen
A battery or charging warning is a fault to diagnose, not a health question. See HV battery and power electronics and book a check.

FAQ
Questions owners ask
Why get a battery health report?
The high-voltage battery is the most valuable part of an electric car, and its condition affects range and resale value. A report gives buyers, sellers and fleets something concrete to go on.
Which cars can you check?
Any electric car. Send the make, model and year on WhatsApp to book.
Where is the check done?
At our workshop in Industrial Area 11, Sharjah.
Tesla has a built-in battery health test. Why get a workshop report?
On recent software, a Tesla can run its own Battery Health test from the screen, under Controls, then Service, then Battery Health. The car has to be parked and plugged in to an AC charger with a low state of charge, and the test can take many hours, so the car is out of use while it runs. It gives a single figure for the pack. A workshop report records more than that: the state-of-health estimate, cell voltage balance, battery temperatures, insulation resistance and stored high-voltage alerts, written down so that a buyer, seller or fleet has something to go on. It is also the option when you are checking a car you do not own yet.
